Pics shown here were taken a few weeks ago by an awesome girl in my ward who takes pics of newborns as a FREE Service for the Ward, how awesome and nice is that? Her website is on the right, its Wonderland Photography. Her name is Jessica and she is such a sweet and cute girl! It was fun hanging out with her at my house!
It's funny how before I had kids or was even thinking about having kids yet, I remember reading blogs and thinking, "Why does everyone with kids always pretty much ONLY talk about their kids on their blogs, don't THEY have a life?" I remember thinking also "Ya know, kids are great and all but YOU still are a person and got to have SOMETHING to say about your life other then your kids" So here I am. Got stuck in that rut! It's not that life has not gone on for me cause it has, but Drey has become something more important and funner to talk about I guess? A friend at church today laughed and said how everyone that has kids, that THAT'S pretty much all they talk about on their blogs! So it's not just me who thinks or THOUGHT that way! So I would like to talk a little about Drey but also about Tanner and I too!
A few weeks ago I started playing on a softball league. FAVORITE activity for me besides hanging with my family. Seriously I come ALIVE when I play! I played softball for Mesa Girls Softball ever since I was little up until maybe Jr year in High school I think. It is so hard to explain how fun it is for me and how much I love it! I am sure it's how Tanner feels when he plays b-ball once or twice a week. He LOVES to play and will play ANYTIME because he has such a passion and love for it. That's how I feel I guess. The team only had an opening for a girl right now so I played and ended their season with them. Tanner and my sister Samantha will be joining me next season in a few months on a team and WATCH OUT it's going to be THEBOMB.COM!!
Tanner has been super busy with work and playing in his city league tournament of Basketball. Drey and I usually go to his games and watch him. It's fun to watch someone and a team who has so much passion and love for the
sport. It's also fun to watch his team cause so many friends of ours play on his team, such as: Tanners Bro-Ryan,Mike and James Justice, Jeremy Baker, Tanners cousin Robby Carter, and a few others. We went to EAC with all these guys so it's fun they get to play together every week. Plus I get to hang with all their cool wives and cute kids when they come to watch their hubby's.
I went back to work a month ago and am loving it. I feel like its where I need to be right now. I have SUCH a great babysitter that I never get nervous leaving him. It was meant to be for sure! My job is one I LOVE. I really LOVE getting to see all my patients so often and their families. I get to work so much on each patient that we get to know them so well and whats happening in their lives. When I came back to work so many patients saw me and the first thing they said to me was "I want to see pics of Drey!" So they are all good friends to me and if I saw any of my patients outside of work I would definitely want to say hi to them! My boss is really great too and makes my job allot easier and fun! He is very into doing fun things and having fun with our patients. I hear so many stories from my patients that have jobs and hate them because their boss or someone they work with just makes work awful for them. Isn't that a shame when you really would enjoy doing something but ONE person can really spoil that whole apple! I definitely have had jobs where there were a few people here and there that would make me want to quit a job. So not cool! Anyhow, so work is good.
Drey is growing up so darn fast. Every time I look at pics from even just a few weeks ago, he
already looks different to me. He fits into his 0-3month onesies still OK, but they are a little tight. His 3 month onesies fit great. I finally went and bought him some warm pj's and a few outfits I thought he needed for this GREAT cold weather we are having! I love taking him on walks and outside allot and I hate being worried about him being cold. At night we open our bedroom window and it can get pretty cold in our room so he has got some fuzzy warm pj's and his new clothes are size 3-6 month outfits. They are a little big on him but really not too big. I just went and had his 2 month checkup although he was 2 1/2 months when I went but he definitely measured on the higher end of how much he weighs, his head size, and how tall he is. So 2 weeks ago he was already measuring at 24 3/4 inches tall. I hope he keeps getting tall, I would love another tall boy in the family. Drey is a sweet boy though. He sleeps pretty well in the night. I do get up once or twice to feed him but he sleeps pretty well. He is starting to smile and talk I LOVE it! I love just having him stare at me and jabber on. Tanner has had allot of "football time" with him lately. Sports are ALWAYS on in my house and so he gets to enjoy the games with his dad. Father and son time is great with me since there's always laundry to be done, cooking I love to do, and a dog to feed.
For Halloween Drey is going to be a baseball player. I had this outfit past down to me from a lady that used to be in my ward, but its really cute and I dressed him up in it already when I took him to my softball games. I have to dress up for work on Wednesday so I am still trying to decide what I will be.
Tanner and I talked in church today. I talked on "Seeking to know God, our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ", and Tanner talked on "May Our Burdens be Lighter" all talks given in this past Conference. They both went well. Neither of us locked our knees or fell flat on our faces. We survived. I felt the spirit pretty strong. The missionaries in our ward spoke right before us and of course they have a great way of bringing in the spirit into the room. I loved my talk because I think you can never get to know our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ enough, There's always more to know and learn of them. Tanners talk was also a great subject. He just mentioned how there are different types of burdens. Some burdens are burdens we can't help like natural distasters and such, some burdens are from others and their choices and free agency, and some burdens we place upon ourselves. He said serving others, and putting Christ first in our lives will help to
lighten our loads, and I truly believe that. When I am making correct choices in my life, things seem to go a little smoother, and things that happen in my family might seem like heavy burdens at first, but they somehow aren't that heavy anymore when I'm doing whats right. So needless to say it was a good Sunday. After church, got a little nap in, baked cookies, and went for a walk with my two boys. That's pretty much the Williams' Happenings for now.
Our cousins Kyler and Kara Merrill just welcomed their baby boy Braxten Kyler Merrill into their home on Oct 22ND. I am so beyond happy for them! I cant wait to meet him. From his pics he looks like a sweet little doll! Thanks for reading my blog and staying in touch!!

Little Angel
My little Angel! Ahh he is the best thing ever! I love him more then my chubby body loves Paradise Bakery Choc White Choc Chippers! Hahah! K, so on that note my body has been through some weirder things to me NOW then when I was prego. Like when I was at the hospital right after having Drey my aunt brought me some Paradise Bakery Choc White Choc Chippers and the coconut n choc chip ones. I have had Paradise Bakery Reg Choc chip cookies before but that's it, and didn't think they were anything to DIE for ya know? Well ever since my aunt delighted me with those little chipper cookies they have I have been CRAVING them. I got some the other day for myself, then had Tanner run after he got off work one night to get me some! I never had him run to get me anything when I was prego! HhAHAH, Then a few days after I had Drey my mother in law brought over Burger King Whoppers. Well I am SOO not a fan of BK, But ever since I had a half of a whopper, I have been CRAVING Whoppers! I don't even like Hamburgers from places really. I always get chicken sandwiches. Weird right!! So I finally stopped getting BK after my second Run there and then stopped with the cookies after the second run as well! I went online and found a recipe for the paradise bakery cookies so I made some last night and they are DELICIOUS!! Love em! VERY chocolaty but great! Hmm.. so besides my craving all that's been happening with me?... NOT MUCH! I just am getting used to the idea of being a mom. Weird! I have so many moments where I am like "MAN how did this happen and is he really mine?" I still don't get how he was ever in me?? But I LOVE being a mom. It is definitely a work of PATIENCE! Tanner and I take turns getting up with him and burping him and all that jazz and when you are so stinking tired its hard, but we are working together so we each get nights where we sleep less then the other. Overall I get up with him early sometimes middle of night/early morning and take him downstairs and just feed him and put him to sleep with me so Dad can have some Zzzz's before going to work. I figure if I can be at home all day with him and take a nap when he naps then dad deserves more sleep! BUT when I go back to work the end of the month things will change! I will have to rearrange all my feeding and sleeping hours somehow! Not sure yet how all that's going to work but we will figure it out! People are saying Drey is looking more and more like Tanner. Still allot of me in him, but more like Tanner so that's fun! Erin Householder in Thatcher, took some AMAZING shots of little Drey even though he was awake and a little fussy and so Ill put some of him up! She really is an amazing photographer and I would recommend her to do your family, baby, whatever! My little sister Brooke is getting her PERMIT today even though my dad already lets her drive ALONE sometimes!! She really is a great driver though she has always been mature in those ways for a long time just like my older sister Samantha. My other little sister Stacy just had her first Varsity Volleyball game and she started and did amazing! She has improved over her years in club and school V-ball I'm so proud of her! I love my sisters to pieces! Not much else new, I still need to go private soon but I just get worried I don't have every ones addresses and people will not be able to stay in contact with me once I go private since Blogger does not have a way to message people and request to be their friend, I hate that don't you? There should definitely be a way we can do that! Why have they not thought of this or made it happen? Just like facebook you can see the person and decide whether to Deny or Accept them ya know?! Anyhow, these are all my thoughts for the day.. O we are blessing Drey on Sunday the 6Th! He is still a little young BUT Tanners sister Kristy is blessing her baby that day as well so we already have family in town thought we would just do it then, if anyone wants to come let me know Ill give ya the info!

For those who don't already know, Kameron Haban lost his battle with Lupus yesterday morning. He has touched the lives of so many with his huge smile and genuine kindness, and will be missed by so many! Jami has also touched many with her amazing courage and faith throughout their ordeal. Whether you know them or not, please keep Jami and 2 1/2 year old son Kason in your prayers. This sweet family is in need of emotional, spiritual and physical support. Kameron spent more than the last month of his life in the ICU. We are all blessed with an opportunity to help. Yesterday a bank account was opened for them. Anyone can go to any Bank of America and make a donation to the account under JamiLynn Haban for the benefit of Kameron Haban. You can also make an online donation at paypal.com by sending it to habanfundraiser@gmail.comJami did an amazing job of updating everyone on her blog kamandjami.blogspot.com if you would like to read more about their experience. Please help us lend support to the Haban family during this time! Feel free to help spread the word of how to make a donation to those who you know will want to help.
*I copied this post from Lindsey Stokes and Heidi Joncas-way better way to say things then I could have done
Kameron was my hometeacher in college and he brought us over great deserts! He was a happy and fun guy, he will be so missed!

Officially a mom tomorrow!!

Drey will be here tomorrow! I have an induction scheduled for tomorrow morning. My Dr. stripped my membranes a little today and gave the go for tomorrow. It is more of a needed induction for me just cause I am a perfect candidate for being at risk for pre-eclampsia my Dr. says. I have had all the signs leading up to it, so before I actually really have it its time to have my little one! I have not been nervous this whole pregnancy about labor or delivery but now Im pretty nervous. The nurses at the Dr.'s office just said too many people tell you their horror stories, just focus on the end result and the fact that you get to meet your son tomorrow!
So I will try and do just that! Here is just a pic of his car seat cover I had made for him. The girl is great, she also made me a sling, nursing cover, and a boppy pillow cover. Well... Ill be posting pics next time of the little guy. Hopefully no horror stories from me!
